These are definitely designed for younger children and they tend to not last as long as some of the better quality pits. You probably will want to buy some extra balls to go inside the play center because they don’t come with as many as you would need to make a real ball pit.

Another great option for having a ball pit for your toddler in your home is simply an inflatable pool filled with a bunch of balls. The pool can even be used as an actual swimming pool as well as for your ball pit.
You cans also buy your own inflatable pool in whatever size you want to use and then simply buy as many bpa free ball pit balls as you want to fill the pool up. Depending on how large of a pool you buy you may need anywhere from 200-400 balls to really make it a good ball pit.

If you are looking for something a little smaller and less expensive than the awesome ball pit above, then this ball pit tent makes a great alternative for toddlers and you won’t have to spend has as much money on it.
This is not only a tent but it comes with a super fun tunnel that leads right into the ball area.
This tent measures 22“L x 39.25” W x 22″H and is a good size for one or two toddlers or even slightly older children to play and have fun with all the balls. The tunnel is pretty long as it measures 69″ long and is 19″ wide.
This product does come with 100 balls but you may want to add on another 100 so the whole floor is covered with balls.
